Faraday already separates the mail. Bills sit with bills. A booking looks like a booking. Newsletters, updates, and notifications each have a list of their own. Until July, the older mail in those lists still asked for the mouse.

Faraday 1.32, shipped on 27 July 2026, is the release that changed that. Select a row, and the arrow keys take you through it.

## Up and Down walk the older lists

Open Bills, Bookings, Newsletters, Updates, or Notifications and select a row. Up and Down move through that older list, open the next email, and keep the selected row on screen.

The keys stay quiet while you are typing in a field, and while a dialog is open. The people list already worked this way. The classified sections now do too.

When you would rather jump than step, the command palette is still ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows). That one is written up in [⌘K, natural snooze, and a 2.6x faster inbox](https://faraday.email/blog/faraday-faster-command-palette-snooze-archives-2026).

## Flagged and Saved, on the list that has them

Each older list can narrow to mail you have already marked:

**Bills** — Flagged
**Updates** — Flagged and Saved
**Bookings** — Saved
**Newsletters** — Saved
**Notifications** — Saved

The button stays inactive until that list actually contains flagged or saved mail, so an empty filter never pretends there is something to find. Clear brings the full older list back. The sender and type filters you already had stay right beside these.

## Recent transactions fold away

On Bills, Recent transactions is a heading you can open and close. When nothing new has arrived, the heading says so: No new transactions. The older bills stay underneath, ready for the arrow keys and the Flagged filter.

The rich views are still the heart of the product. If you prefer rows and columns, [Simple view](https://faraday.email/blog/faraday-simple-view-tabular-inbox-2026) lays the same sections out as a table. The keyboard and these filters are for the lists you already live in.

## How do I move through Faraday bills with the keyboard?

Select a bill in the older list, then press Up or Down. The selection moves, the email opens, and the row scrolls into view. The same keys work in Bookings, Newsletters, Updates, and Notifications.

## Can I show only flagged bills in Faraday?

Yes. On the older bills list, Flagged shows bills and transactions you have starred. Updates has both Flagged and Saved. Bookings, Newsletters, and Notifications have Saved.

## How do I hide recent transactions?

Click the Recent transactions heading on Bills. It collapses. When there are no new transactions, that heading reads No new transactions.
